Το Poseidonion Grand Hotel και το αρχοντικό νησί των Σπετσών υποδέχονται για τέταρτη χρονιά το Εαρινό Ράλι Κλασικών Αυτοκινήτων ΦΙΛΠΑ (Φίλοι Παλαιού Αυτοκινήτου)!
Στις 8-9 Απριλίου η Πλατεία Ποσειδωνίου θα γεμίσει με εντυπωσιακά οχήματα-αντίκες που θα φιλοξενηθούν για μία μόλις μέρα στο νησί χωρίς αυτοκίνητα δημιουργώντας την πιο όμορφη αντίθεση με φόντο το ιστορικό ξενοδοχείο και τα ξεχωριστής ομορφιάς ανοιξιάτικα τοπία των Σπετσών.
Για μία ακόμη χρονιά αυτοκίνητα-αντίκες ηλικίας από 30 έως και 95 ετών θα δώσουν ραντεβού το πρωί του Σαββάτου στα Ίσθμια όπου και θα επιλέξουν αν θα διαγωνιστούν στην κατηγορία Regularity με πολλές Ειδικές Δοκιμασίες ή στην Trophy Tour με λιγότερες Ειδικές Δοκιμασίες. Τα περίπου 100 πληρώματα που θα λάβουν φέτος μέρος στη συνέχεια θα κατευθυνθούν μέσα από το μαγευτικό τοπίο της Πελοποννήσου στην Κόστα από όπου με το Ferry θα διασχίσουν τα νερά του Αργοσαρωνικού για να μεταφερθούν στις Σπέτσες και να πάρουν τις θέσεις τους στην Πλατεία Ποσειδωνίου μπροστά από το εμβληματικό Poseidonion Grand Hotel. Τη δεύτερη μέρα οι συμμετέχοντες θα κάνουν τον γύρο του Νησιού των Αρωμάτων ανακαλύπτοντας την ομορφιά της σπετσιώτικης υπαίθρου στην πιο όμορφη εκδοχή της.
Ήδη από την πρώτη χρονιά που πραγματοποιήθηκε το Εαρινό Ράλι Κλασικών Αυτοκινήτων στις Σπέτσες, η εκδήλωση σημείωσε μεγάλη επιτυχία και αγκαλιάστηκε ιδιαίτερα από τον κόσμο του νησιού και τους επισκέπτες. Οι παρευρισκόμενοι έχουν κάθε χρόνο τη δυνατότητα να θαυμάσουν από κοντά οχήματα-σταθμούς στην ιστορία της αυτοκινητοβιομηχανίας που κοσμούν στο πέρασμα τους τις γραφικές γωνιές των Σπετσών. Στα χρόνια που επισκέπτεται το Ράλι το νησί έχουν παρελάσει στους δρόμους του Bentley, Jaguar, Chrysler, Porche, Cadillac, Maserati, Mercedes, Chevrolet και Alpha Romeo που έκλεψαν τις εντυπώσεις και διεκδίκησαν μια θέση στα καλλιστεία που διοργανώνονται στο πλαίσιο της εκδήλωσης.
Ύστερα από τρεις πολύ επιτυχημένες διοργανώσεις στις Σπέτσες, το Εαρινό Ράλι Κλασικών Αυτοκινήτων διατηρεί αμείωτο το ενδιαφέρον του κοινού που το έχει αναδείξει σε θεσμό. Η θέρμη με την οποία έχει αγκαλιαστεί η συγκεκριμένη εκδήλωση επιβεβαιώνει την επιτυχία της και παράλληλα επιβραβεύει τις προσπάθειες του Poseidonion Grand Hotel να φιλοξενεί εκδηλώσεις που αναδεικνύουν τον αστικό χαρακτήρα του νησιού και το φέρνουν κάθε χρόνο στο προσκήνιο.
The Spring Classic Car Rally returns to Spetses for the fourth year from 8-9 April 2017
The Poseidonion Hotel and the majestic island of Spetses will welcome the Spring Classic Car Rally Philpa (Friends of Old Cars) for the 4th year. From 8-9 April Poseidonion Square will be filled with a spectacular collection of antique vehicles on an island which is normally car free, creating a stunning contrast between the historic hotel in the background and the island’s unique natural beauty in springtime.
Once again antique cars of all ages, from 30 up to 95, will meet up at Corinthos on Saturday morning where it will be decided which vehicles will run in the ‘Regularity’ category that includes ‘Special Trials’, or in the Trophy tour with less ‘Special Trials’. The one hundred cars which will take part in the rally then commence the drive down through the beautiful scenery of the Peloponnese until they reach Costa. From there, they will be transported by ferry across the Argosaronic Gulf to the island of Spetses. On arrival, the vehicles will congregate in the Poseidonion Square in front of the iconic Poseidonion Grand Hotel, taking their places for the race. On the following day the participants will drive around the island of aromas, taking in the natural beauty of the Spetsian countryside at its most stunning.
Since the commencement of the very first Spring Classic Car Rally in Spetses, the event recognised great success and was embraced by both the island’s locals and visitors alike. Every year the attendees have the opportunity to admire at close range some of the vehicles that are classed as landmarks in the automobile history while they parade around the picturesque lanes of Spetses. Since the rally began on the island, its streets have been graced by great names of the industry such as Bentley, Jaguar, Chrysler, Porsche, Cadillac, Maserati, Mercedes, Chevrolet and Alpha Romeo, all of which claim a place in the marvellous pageant which is organised during the event.
After three extremely successful rallies in Spetses, the Spring Classic Car Rally has continued to capture the public interest and has become a regular date in the calendar. The warm welcome which the race receives confirms its success and also rewards the efforts of the Poseidonion Grand Hotel to host events which showcase the distinguished side of the island and put it in the spotlight each year.
